About brand
Our founder, Devika, was inspired by a phrase she often heard while living in New Zealand: Kia Ora (pronounced: Kee-or-ra). It is a traditional greeting of Māori (the indigenous people of New Zealand) used to express well wishes and connection. In literal, Ora refers to ‘being alive’ or ‘the state of living’, while Kia turns it into a verb, so rather than ‘alive’, it becomes ‘living’.
When we say Kia Ora to someone, we are wishing them a life of health and wellbeing. With the same spirit, we hope Keyoura can be the Key to Your Healthy Skin.
